"Phos Hilaron" means 'gladdening light' or 'joy bringing light' in Koine Greek and since cats are great bringers of joy and certainly add light to our lives I thought it an appropriate name for a cattery. Havana Browns are a minority breed and my goal as a breeder is to aid in the promotion and longevity of the breed.  I therefore focus on quality and produce about one litter a year.  My cats are all kept in house and kittens are raised under foot to aid with socialization and ensure they receive plenty of human attention. We are located near Fort Wayne, Indiana, about 4-5 hours from Chicago.

 We have been members of the Cat Fanciers' Association and Havana Brown Fanciers' Cat Club since 2014.
